Started using this in my mid-twenties and in my opinion, this cleanser is worth its weight in gold and has been the only product that has ever worked for my skin. It's gentle, light, refreshing, and effective. DermaE, please don't ever stop making this fantastic product!I struggle with acne in my checks and forehead and chin and it hasn't been a week and its working so good and so quickly and it doesn't use animals and its better than cera-ve in my opinionGrateful i found this product it saved me!It is lightweight and rinses away easily which I like. This really is a great cleanser. After trying a multitude of drug store cleansers and never getting decent results (if any at all), I tried the natural route and was rewarded with much clearer skin. I used it in conjunction with Derma E's Vitamin A and Glycolic Toner. The texture and resulting lather of this cleanser took a while for me to get used to. My skin almost didn't feel clean after using it, but I became accustomed to it. (And really, I think that may have been one of my problems - I was stripping too much from my skin when washing.) The cleanser is really silky and doesn't really lather at all, but it glides over skin easily and the skin feels pretty silky after rinsing. It's also super gentle. After several uses, I noticed a big improvement in my skin quality. My skin was much smoother, plumper, less red, softer, and brighter. Appearance of pores was decreased. Blemishes/frequency of breakouts weren't noticeably improved right away.My skin was hardly breaking out at all after using this cleanser for a couple weeks. Before trying this, the pores on my cheeks had become very clogged and large and I constantly had several blemishes in that area. After several weeks of use, my cheeks were basically completely clear. The marks left by blemishes seemed to heal/disappear more quickly (keep in mind that I used the Vitamin A and Glycolic Toner as well - I think those two ingredients helped in the dark spot reduction area).I still did suffer the occasional blemish, so I decided to try a different natural cleanser but soon realized that I should switch back to the Derma E. The results after switching back were marked again; instant improvement in texture and calming of breakouts. After using this cleanser, I have realized that I have more sensitive skin than I thought; I believe that part of my problem with drug store cleansers is that salicylic acid is just too harsh and causes more problems than it solves. Give this cleanser a shot!I really loved this product!I’ve been a loyal derma e customer for a couple years now. Liked that it was natural, geared towards acne fighting, and I could feel good about using it because it’s a cruelty free line of products. For the last 2 years I’ve been dealing with a decently annoying amount of painful zits developing on my face. Mostly hormonal acne but not always isolated. I thought it was just normal breakthrough acne that nothing would help since the cause was hormones from my period. Surely no one can blame a topical product for not being able to fix symptoms caused by inside the body.. well I was wrong. For the last year I have also been developing small raised bumps that resemble little whiteheads, all along my lower cheeks and jawline. My skin felt rough and bumpy and when I looked close in the mirror it looked awful. I was so self conscious. I was developing worse acne along my jawline from wearing a mask and it was adding insult to injury. I even started doing spot treatments with a peroxide acne cream to target the spots directly. Nothing. Then one month ago I had three large zits appear on my chin during my period, and unfortunately not the kind that you can pop and make go away. These were large red and painful to the touch. I tried the spot treatment to no avail. Then over the course of the 4 weeks the spots died down and eventually seemed to go away, however I was left with small dark red/purple/browning spots where the acne was from scarring... when I hadn’t even touched them knowing full well they’d scar if I even attempted to pop them. One day I decided enough was enough and I needed a change, so I started doing some research. Through that research I decided to switch my face care products over to Cetaphil. A certified non-comdogenic dermatologist recommended skin care line.. and let me say that I will not go back to this face wash. It’s been two days of use of their redness reducing gentle foaming face wash, and their basic daily moisturizer and my skin is so smooth and starting to look clear. After two days the small numerous bumps are gone. I’m three days into my period and not zits. The scarring from the old ones is fading. And no mask jawline irritation!I'm 25 and still struggle with acne. After 3 days of using this product my face is clearer and not as oily as other products I have used in the past. I've even started wearing makeup again!!!Won’t go back to anything else
