I used this product for my son who have a sensitive skin. This is unscented. Both used for bodywash and shampoo. We like the fact that this has no added perfumes, which are a problem for anyone who is sensitive to fragrances.I love this wash for sensitive skin. It hasn’t been sold in stores for a while and only costed $2.00 but it’s more expensive on amazon buying it from other vendors. But oh well it is what it isThis soap works very well for my daughter's sensitive skin issuesThis labeling is very misleading because this product is Scented! Why in the world would a company choose to call a product "free and gentle" and then add fragrance to it?Other products labeled with the words "free," "free and clear," or "free and gentle" are free of dyes and fragrances. "Free" products have been increasing in popularity over the last decade, and they are currently a widely recognized market segment. For example, Tide - Free & Gentle has been available since at least 2009, and it seems inconceivable (to me) for a company to label a scented product as "free and gentle" in 2016.What is going on here? Are the folks at Suave clueless? Is it an honest mistake? Is it deliberate? Maybe they think that dyes are a bigger problem than fragrances and that there will be little backlash from the families that have legitimate health concerns over fragrances? I won't claim to know. However, I am certain that I would have less of an issue with it if the scented nature of the product was clear from the labeling. If Suave thinks that adding fragrance is a good thing, then why not advertise the fact and make it a selling point? Some of the other reviewers like the scent, and that's great - for them. Why not make it easy for folks who want the fragrance to find it by writing "With a Clean Fresh Scent!" (or something similar) on the front of the bottle? I have carefully examined the front and back labels, and the only place on the entire bottle that scent is mentioned is in the ingredient list. To me, that seems extremely inconsiderate of people who need to purchase allergen/irritant free products. If you are part of a family that avoids fragrances for health reasons, then avoid Suave Free & Gentle.
